I golf, don’t golf. I mean, I took lessons in my twenties and can pitch like nobody’s business. I have played in charity tournaments, my ball has been used in “BEST BALL” matches, and I am not the LAST member to be picked in the foursome. But all that adds up to the fact that I can count on both hands all the times I have played golf – Top Golf excluded, of course. Yet here I am as the founder of Bergy Bag, talking golf to my customers.
Bergy Bags are insulated, leather, and come with an ice pack. They fit in your hand perfectly and are the most gorgeous cooler bags you’ve ever seen. They also have a D-ring that clips easily onto a, you guessed it – a golf bag. As you can imagine, I couldn’t wait to tell every person I came across how cool Bergy Bags are, and you know who loved them the most? Lady Golfers, that’s who.
So what did I do? I went straight to the PGA Show to reach every lady golfer I possibly could to tell them about Bergy Bag – the bag that keeps cool from course to clubhouse. And they loved it. They loved it so much that they wanted to purchase them for tee gifts. Yes!
Wait, what’s a tee gift? Being the resourceful person I am, I took a quick vocabulary lesson from my friend Tori Totlis and learned that Bergy Bag is the perfect member-guest tee gift. Do you like how I used all the terms there? Thought so…
For those of you who have not been in a golf tournament, a tee gift is an item you receive for participating. Bergy Bags, water bottles, diamond earrings (JK), scorecard holders, divot tools, towels, and tees all fall into the tee gift category. A nice, usually customized gift from the host to you.
I am so thankful for these early adopters of Bergy Bag. These ladies have pushed my sales forward and have been raving fans. Not like Waste Management Raving fans, but more like classy lady-raving fans.
So, to all my classy lady-raving fans, I have a question: what’s the best tee gift you have ever received?
In Bags and Belly Laughs,
Heather
